Nickelodeon Consumer Products' Lourdes Arocho Wins Licensing And Entertainment Award At Women in Toys' 9th Annual Wonder Women Awards

The children's entertainment and media news website Kidscreen is reporting in the following article the Nickelodeon News that Women in Toys, a professional organization, which since 1991 has supported women within the global toy, licensing and entertainment industries, has awarded Lourdes Arocho, who is Vice President, Toys and Games at Nickelodeon Consumer Products, the Licensing & Entertainment award at its ninth annual Wonder Women Awards, which was held on Sunday 10th February 2013 at The Lighthouse @ Pier 60, located at Pier 61, 23rd Street and West Side Highway, New York, NY 10011. Women in Toys' (also known as WIT) Wonder Women Awards is a annual awards ceremony which honors women and men for outstanding business achievement. Women in Toys grants industry awards, face time with Walmart

Professional organization Women in Toys, which since 1991 has supported women within the global toy, licensing and entertainment industries, awarded 10 women and two men for outstanding business achievement at its ninth annual Wonder Women Awards yesterday.

The organization has also announced a new initiative with Walmart called The Walmart WIT Global Economic Empowerment Initiative at Toy Fair, designed to help members conduct business with the largest US retailer. The Walmart Toy Buying Team has dedicated an afternoon to meet with more than 40 WIT member companies who have businesses but are not yet doing business with Walmart.
