Membership numbers bolstered as NCP signs up to increase visibility to the trade.

Just ahead of next week's industry showcase at Olympia, Nickelodeon UK has underlined its support and commitment to the business by becoming a member of LIMA UK.

NCP is the latest in a line of new companies to sign up to the trade body - Art Ask Agency, Blueprint, Chapman Entertainment, Global Sports Licensing, JCB Consumer Products, Intelligence and Investigation Services - IP Crime Unit, Sagoo, Shipley, The Extreme Sports Company, Imperial War Museums and V&S Entertainment among others have all joined up in the last 12 months.

As a member, Nickelodeon will now have access to a series of benefits including discounted access to shows, an international webinar series and LIMA's worldwide directory.

"We are delighted to have joined LIMA UK," said Mark Kingston, NCP's VP, UK and Australia and pan-European retail development. "It is of great importance to be fully integrated into the licensing community, so we're pleased to be working with the industry's professional organisation which represents the interests of its members and the licensing industry at large.

"Our membership will increase our visibility across the UK and Europe giving us access to a wider industry audience, as well as helping us to stand out in a competitive marketplace as we build our property portfolio, licensing programmes and retail partnerships into 2012 and beyond."
